Dr. Andy Swanson is Board Certified in Naturopathic Medicine and Acupuncture, with a clinical practice that integrates cutting edge theories of the brain with traditional Naturopathic and Chinese medical models designed to vitalize the nervous system.

Dr. Andy Swanson has an active clinical practice in Portland, OR at Urban Wellness Group www.urbanwellnesspdx.com, where he utilizes physical medicine, nutrition, meditation, sound, and intravenous therapies to heal the brain and other neurologic disorders. He is an adjunct professor for Portland Community College and has been a guest speaker at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon. In 2016, he was a featured speaker at the Hawaii Doc Talks, where he offered a clinical model for the treatment of concussion. In his 2005 thesis, Recovery from Mild Traumatic Brain Injury: Restoring Relationships Between Body, Mind, Self and Environment, he explores how Naturopathic and Chinese modalities can be helpful in neurogenesis and re-patterning the brain.
